Jill has been a Brantford resident for 18 years now after moving here from her hometown of Burlington! It seems this 'Plant' has set down some deep roots! Jill has been in the real estate business for 15 years now! Working successfully in residential sales and transitioning to the corporate world of the commercial retail sector nine years ago.
Jill worked within two Canadian and national retailers for six years. Strategically working within the finance, store development, construction & real estate departments, growth was the goal in each company and Jill, and her team plotted new stores all over Canada based on internal growth plans and demographics. Negotiation always based on the companies growth and success.
The last three years have been a whirlwind of retail growth as Jill worked within a brokerage in Markham, servicing the GTA and surrounding areas, concentrating mainly on western cities such as Burlington, Hamilton, Brantford, Cambridge and Kitchener.
Jill is very excited to return to her roots in residential sales with expertise in the retail and commercial fields. Jill wants to be a part of Brantford’s growth, helping people in our beautiful community find a place to call home while adding some more retail space to our ever expanding economy.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A REALTOR®?
I have always had a passion and a talent for the real estate trade. Owning my first home at 19, I got addicted to the race, the art of negotiating and the growth and diversity that real estate has to offer. I like that every day is different and meeting new people is part of my happiness.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF SELLING REAL ESTATE?
With residential, I like making people happy and walking away knowing that both people are in a winning situation. Being a part of people’s most significant decision and largest purchase is humbling. I take pride in my diligent, honest and ethical way of working in this industry. I strive to let people know and trust that they can feel confident that I have their best interest at the forefront. I want them to come back to me and feel like a friend when we see each other out and about in the community.
With commercial, I like shaping the landscape within the retail world for people to shop and find services that are needed and readily available to them. I want to do the best job I can for my Landlords and Tenants alike so each day they know I’ve been working hard to fill any vacancies or find them the perfect new location.
WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL?
Caribbean islands! At least once a year to get away from the snow! Northern Ontario up in the Muskoka‘ is a must in the summer at least once a year. It’s so peaceful and calming.
WHAT'S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I’m a yoga instructor and have taught yoga at a local dance studio as well as individual events & businesses. I need yoga in my life to keep me grounded. Meditation and mindfulness is a daily goal. I like to knit, and crochet and I have this strange addiction to making tiny baby hats for the maternity ward at the BGH.
